Loving your natural hair is more than a beauty choice—it’s a relationship with yourself.

There’s something powerful about embracing the texture that grows from your scalp exactly as it is. Every coil, curl, and kink tells a story of resilience, heritage, and individuality. Natural hair isn’t “difficult” or “unmanageable”—it simply asks for patience, understanding, and care.

When you begin to love your natural hair, you start to notice its quiet strengths. It holds moisture when treated gently. It grows in ways that are unique to you. It adapts, protects, and expresses who you are without needing to be altered or hidden.

Stress be gone!

Hi again,

I plan on doing more than deep breathing for stress relief. I have been on fight or flight, and I really need to do other things for stress relief. It used to be stressful to write or even think about writing. Doing exercises to help me stress less is important. It could affect my hair, if it hasn't already.

Stretching/Yoga/Deep Breathing: Calming the Mind and Body

Hi!

The good news is, if you are stressed, you can calm your body down. Stretching, Yoga, and Deep Breathing are all things you can do to relieve stress. 

My favorite out of all is the deep breathing. I used to not be able to do it easily, but it's easier now. You can start off with 3 deep breaths in and out. You take one deep breath in through both your nose (Should feel it in your head/brain) and mouth (keep your mouth closed, you should feel it through your throat/lungs), then out through only your nose.
