When to redo the mini braids?

I would love it, if I could take down and redo do these braids I have in. I have had them in for two months. I told my viewers I would keep them in for three months. I am excited for the take down on January 22-23. I will show the length and tell what products I have been using as well.

Mini braids

Since October 22, 2025, I have had braids in. I am trying to keep the mini braids in for 3 months. Today it is December 3, 2025. One month done, two more to go. I do love mini braids. I had them in a few months ago, before my mother redid them for me.

Thicker/Thinner

So what did I do for my hair to go from this to that? I think it was the hair mask I used as a leave-in. Now I know not to do that ever again. I was also doing more deep conditioning and pampering in the video as opposed to the picture. I also used a shea butter soap to wash my hair. I thought it was African Black Soap in the store. However, after looking at the soap, after I used it a few times, it wasn't.

Too much product?

Dani from the past after doing the L.C.O method

While being on this journey, to get my hair like it used to be, I would like to try not to be too heavy-handed with product. Sometimes I would go out after putting a leave in, cream, and oil, or a deep conditioner. With the deep conditioner, I hope to not go out with it in at all.

Past Hair: First Post

Hey guys,

Here are two pictures of me with how my hair used to be a few years ago. A few years ago I pampered my hair. Steam treatments, deep conditioning, African black soap, buying hair growth oils, satin bonnets, chlorophyll (liquid and pills) and orange juice, prenatal vitamins, and many more things. I loved it. But as I went through a healing process, I forgot about these things. My hair became damaged, and broke off. Believe it or not, it got even longer than these two pictures.  However, I lost very many images and these are ones I happen to find in another location not on my phone. You can also view the video that I found as well here: Click here. It shows my hair being thick and healthy. Here, ,you can see how my hair is more currently to this post.
